A SPECIAL NOTE TO FAMILIES
On Sunday, August 6, Mallory Dickey shared her intention to step out of the Children's Minister role at LCC by December 15th. We wish Mallory the best of luck in the next phase of life and her love for the Lord.
In the interim, Sharon Osborn and Tyler Chapman are co-leading LCC Children's Ministry.
We are thankful for Tyler and Sharon's love for our young people, and their willingness to lead our Children's Ministry department, until a permanent replacement is found.

As a ministry, we want to be an outpost of hope for kids and their families to have a better life.

What we're about
Relationships are vital for elementary kids, which is why we have a strong focus on small groups. Our volunteers serve every week with the same group of kids, which allows for relationships to grow with other kids, their leaders, and God. This is also why it is so important for your child to attend the same service each week, so that those relationships and connections can stay strong.
Kids church
Kids Church meets in the Kids Auditorium at both our 9am & 10:30am services.
We teach the same lesson and Bottom Line each hour. However, it is taught in different ways and with different small group activities, so that kids who stay both hours will get a unique experience each service, yet still have the same message reinforced.
Security
Your child's safety is important to us. To help us create a safe environment for your child, our volunteers must complete a background check and training process before they are able to serve. We also utilize a security tag system to ensure every child is picked up by an approved adult.
Planning a visit? Go here and fill out the basic information form by Thursday (by 3pm) prior to the Sunday you plan to visit, and you'll be entered into the check-in database, making it quicker and easier for you on Sunday morning.
Each time you bring your child to LCC, you will need to stop by a check-in station to sign in your child, where you will receive a name tag for both you and your child. At pick-up, you must present your child's matching name tag. If you lose your child's corresponding tag, you will be asked to present a photo ID in order to receive your child. Thank you for helping us create a safe environment for all our kids.

Parent Resources
We strongly agree with Scripture when it says that parents are to be the primary spiritual leaders for their children. Check out the following passage (emphasis added):
"These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." -Deuteronomy 6:6-9
